Two projects, different quantities.
A batch isn’t always one drawing repeated. You might need three copies of one project and two of another. Set the quantities for each, then inspect how they fit together on the sheets.
Before running the calculation, check that the parts use the same material and the right thickness. Allow a margin suited to your machine and check the spacing. Combining projects doesn’t replace these workshop decisions.

Continue with a familiar LightBurn workflow.
You can work with SVG files independently of LightBurn. If you use compatible .lbrn2 projects, you can prepare their layouts in NestinGain, then check the export in LightBurn before cutting.
Native layers, text and images have compatibility requirements. Mixing SVG and native files, or projects with different layers, may require consistent SVG exports. Check power, speed and kerf in your laser software; NestinGain doesn’t start the machine.

A useful offcut for your next idea.
Unused area isn’t the only consideration. A large rectangle can be easier to store and reuse than several narrow gaps between parts. NestinGain first tries to limit the number of sheets, then to keep a usable rectangular offcut.
The result depends on shapes, allowed rotations and constraints. Compare the layouts with the sheet sizes you have in stock and inspect the offcut marker before exporting. No consistent percentage saving is promised.
